Upcoming Events August 2015

We still have a number of native tubestock that need to be planted (including some orchids), and at this time of year there is also the usual weeding.  A special focus this month will be making our street fronts and entrances as weed-free and appealing as possible.  There is also our colourful winter flowers and wildlife to discover!

GILBERTON WOODLAND: Gilbert Street, Gilberton – just east of the O’Bahn bridge.

VALE PARK Wildflower Walk:  Willow Bend Reserve, below the carpark on the western side of the Ascot Avenue Road Bridge over the River Torrens.
  • 3.8.15  Monday  10.30am-12.30pm  Informal weeding session by VPOP near the carpark and tennis court
  • 8.8.15  Saturday 11am – 3pm  COMMUNITY DAY incl. PLANTING
  • 21.8.15 Friday   8am-noon (ish)   PEPSICO staff helping VPOP at Vale Park, including litter collection and planting
